Netherlands Overview |
Holland, also known as the Netherlands, is a country of contradictions. It is an efficient, orderly and industrious country yet at the same time it is relaxed and famously liberal. Holland seamlessly combines a marvellous array of cities, from busy ports to cosmopolitan gems, with an unspoilt countryside.
The Netherlands is a great place to visit, and Amsterdam is a very popular destination with its unique atmosphere, cultural delights and wild nightlife. But away from the capital city there are loads of places worth visiting and because of its small geographical size, Holland is very easy to get around. |
